The Day of Chaos

Shortly after the Grand Gathering, a Great Evil appeared on the Broknarran soil. Led by Sir Brock Tulsadoom, and controlling the now jaded God Emperor, Chaos attacked without remorse upon the tumultuous landscape. Chaos had already destroyed Nuremburg, and converted them to it's evil ways, now they had their beady eyes set on Nemea.

Lord Dunbar was ailing, and unable to lead Nemea into battle. So Lord Boltac led the Charge. Boltac was already vowing to destroy Chaos, as that he had pledged alliegence to his friend Ramon, who was heading a new Inquisition to save the Souls of Broknarra from the Hidden masters. A formal declaration of war was made with Chaos. They accepted with great joy.

It was nearing the time of battle, when Wilmeck McWell asked to speak with Boltac. Wilmeck was once a friend of Boltac, and they discussed former battles. Suddenly, without warning, Wilmeck struck Boltac like a Scorpion stinging it's prey. Poison! Boltac was unconscious. Wilmeck eagerly drug Boltac to the lair of Chaos.

It happened that Ramon was out walking near the area when he saw Wilmeck dragging Boltac to the evil lair. Ramon charged into the jagged cliffs only to be himself poisoned and imprisoned. Boltac was awakened, to see the salivating glare of Sir Brock, and the solemn glare of Lord Moto Mushi. Also among the Chaotics was Earl Milus! Wilmeck and Milus poured the vile Chaos goo down Boltac's throat, and successfully made him servant. When asked to take on the aspect of a Totem God of Chaos, Boltac chose the Lion.

Ramon was more steeled against this attack, and fought his captors. Though they tried, Ramon's great faith helped to expel the goo, and protect him. Beaten and bloody, Ramon escaped the lair of Chaos, and ventured back to Nemean Land. Unfortunately, he got lost in the woods, and was too late.

Lord Boltac was sent by Sir Brock to lead Nemea into death, killing them with his own blade. Slithering back, Boltac was obviously not well. Astute Nazere was first to notice the odd behavior of Boltac. He was also worried about the missing Ramon. There was little time for thinking, because both Beorn's return and Chaos attacked.

Boltac led a charge, but the quick thinking Nazere ordered Nemea to hold their ground. It was obvious that something had happened to Boltac, and he was not fit to lead. Enraged, Boltac charged at Nazere, throwing his shield at him, and attacking him with unbridled fury. Nazere fought his friend, and struck Boltac down. The battle raged on, and Sir Brock rose Boltac from the dead with evil magic. Wilmeck drug Boltac back to Chaos. Filch left the battle to scout the Chaos Landscape. Ravensblood charged into battle, but it was too late. Nemea was decimated, and crawled back home, broken.

Ramon returned to Camp, to tell the tale of what had happened. Though he was not trusted at first, he proved his honesty, and prepared the Nemeans for a second wave of Battle. Nazere prepared his unit for death, but vowed to get vengeance on Chaos.

Boltac was healed by the Chaos Gods, as he prayed. This prayer to the Lion brought about a queer effect. He almost regained his composure. Filch rushed up to him, intending to return his cousin to Nemea. Boltac could only mutter one phase. "The Lion...Holy...Antioch..." Filch was puzzled, but he returned the message to Nemea. Steven Kelly understood, and contrived a plan to save Boltac, and All of Chaos.

Boltac then was given orders to return to Nemea, and lead them once again into death. He gladly returned, ready to destroy his once allies. When he returned, he was greeted by maces to his legs. Nemea attacked, and held their foe down on the ground. With the ferocity of a Lion Boltac resisted. Ramon stood over Boltac, ritually beating him with a whip. Steven Kelly then read from the Book of Armaments, and hurled the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch at Lord Boltac. This purged his body of the Chaos goo, and returned his sanity.

Boltac was grateful, and though he was still watched and tied to a tree, he helped hatch a plan to return the God Emperor to Nemea. Sakhom ran off toward Chaos, and returned with Moto Mushi. The ritual was a success, and Moto Mushi returned to Nemea, to help the fight against Chaos.
